What is the fastest way to find a job? Realign your expectations!:) Seriously, your expectations should be aligned to your need for a job. Meaning, if you are desparate for a job, open yourself to take any legitimate job. If you have time and do not feel you are in a desparate situation, be picky. Consider your expectations like a sliding scale, the more desparate you become, the open you should be.

We believe in putting everything in proper perspective. A job is not who you are, it is what you do - nothing more and nothing less:) A job is used to pay bills. If you sweep a floor or run a company, you are the same person:) Always keep perspective:)

The following is a great list of methods to find a job fast:

• ask family, friends and neighbors ... do not be shy!:) Remember, a job does not define you. Let them know the economy stinks and you need help to pay bills. Your friends and neighbors will be more apparent to stick their necks on the line for you if needed.
• check the local classifieds ... this goes without stating. The local paper is a good resource for available jobs.
• check the internet ... good sources are craigslist.com and monster.com.
• check with your churches (if applicable) ... a church can be a great local resource filled with wonderful people willing help.
• previous co-workers ... this brings up a good point - do not burn bridges unless absolutely necessary. If you burn bridges, you can scratch this off the list:) If you managed to part on good terms, great! Contact the people you worked with and gather leads.
